About
Hello, my name is, unsurprisingly, Keith Millington and I'm from Leigh-on-Sea in England. The primary purpose of this website is the promotion of my web development activities, as well being a point of reference for those with an interest in Web Standards, usability and accessibility.
I hand-code in (X)HTML, CSS and Javascript, in accordance with Web Standards as defined by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C) and accessibilty as defined by Web Accessibility Initiative (WAI); designing and developing sites for a diversity of clients including Insurance companies, Musicians, Architects and PR consultants. I'm currently working on sites for a US based Insurance company and a Food Hygienist.
For further information regarding sites that I have designed and developed please visit: Website Portfolio » page and Wordpress Development » page.
I also develop sites and custom blogs using the Wordpress publishing platform, providing customers with WP's easy to use content management (CMS) capabilities. In fact, this site, although largely static in nature, is Wordpress driven.
Conforming to Web Standards and being highly accessible, also make my sites extremely search engine friendly. Before spending vast amounts of money on over-priced Search Engine Optimisation (SEO) consultants, ask your web developer to ensure that your website conforms to W3C and WAI standards - then sit back and watch your ratings soar. Currently I'm unavailable for freelance work (unless, that is, you're Google or the BBC). However, if you would like to contact me please find my details below.
